#picstitch My mother’s first American edition of J. R. R. Tolkien’s Unfinished Tales. It’s missing the dust jacket, but it is in great shape. One more reason I love my mother. #iread #books #literature

Currently reading. Not far in, but its getting interesting. Thanks to Alison for suggesting this book. I have a feeling I’m definitely going to like this one. Now, off to read more.
Where I get my love of reading. I will always love this picture. I love you dad (Taken with Instagram)
Going to finish packing, take some mucinex and then get in bed with this.
I’ve finished two books today. I feel slightly accomplished.
Reading this in between packing for vacation.
But I finished Dragonfly in Amber, which is about the same page length in about a week.
I think I need a break of ASoIaF.
My Saturday evening is consisting of cuddles with kitty while snuggling in my giraffe blanket, a screwdriver, and A Clash of Kings. It’s not all that exciting, but it’s relaxing, which is pretty nice after working all day.
Finished Volume 1, now on to Volume 2.
Giving myself a break from Dragonfly in Amber and reading some Mr. Barker.
Reading, curled up with my favorite blanket. This book is great.
Still don’t feel very well. And still missing baby, bad.
Currently reading Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon.
It’s been over a year since I read the first book in the series but I remember how much I loved Jamie and Claire and how much I envied their love.
I always said I’d give anything to love someone like that. I do love someone like that. He is my whole heart and soul. I’m a lucky, lucky woman.
But really, if you haven’t read Outlander, the first in the series, read it. It’s so fantastic.
The inside of Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk. It’s fantastic and I can’t wait to read it.
Outside with a book in my hand, on a cool summer’s evening with the smell of honeysuckle and the sound of my mom’s fountain. It is moments like this where I feel okay about life.
Until reality comes crashing back down on me in a few hours.
